From early 2021, the Trentham Community will have local access to more Council services.

Many of council services that the community currently needs to travel to Daylesford, Creswick or Clunes to access in person, will be available at the Trentham Library, including logging requests, payment of rates and other Council accounts, document lodgements, animal registrations, bins and more.

Evan King, CEO, said that this initiative aims to bring more equity of services to the residents of Trentham.

“We hope this extension of services to the Trentham community will be embraced,” said Mr King.

Additional staffing ensures that this service compliments the service the Trentham community already receives from its library.

The opening days of Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 10am – 5pm and Saturdays 10am – 1pm will remain the same, but we will no longer be closing over the lunch period.

“You will notice a few changes happening in the library space in the lead up to the new service being made available, and we hope to have this is in place in the first quarter of the New Year,” said Mr King.
