The Woady Yaloak FNC has been invited to compete in the Western Bulldogs Under 9 competition for the 2020 season.
After an extensive period of consultation between the league and committee members of the newly formed club, measures were put in place to ensure the long-term future and viability of the club.
League chairman Adrian Bettio stated, “The growth of the greater Ballarat community over the short to medium future meant the Ballarat league needed to look towards catering for the expected growth in player numbers, and the Woady Yaloak FNC fill that brief towards the southwest of Ballarat”
“Credit to Adam Liversage and fellow committee members on making this new club a reality and also the Golden Plains Shire for their support in this project as well”
The Woady Yaloak FNC will play under invitation this season, with the intention of applying for formal affiliation in the Ballarat FNL from 2021.
It is hoped the club will use this affiliation to field junior football and netball teams as the 11th team in the Ballarat FNL junior competition.
