Works on the long-waited Daylesford Skate Park refurbishment will commence in the next few weeks.
Mayor, Cr Don Henderson, said that this is a project where the Friends of the Daylesford Community Park were instrumental in getting support for the project, working closely with Council to attract funding and finalise a design.
“The Daylesford community park is a much-loved community asset and there has been extensive community consultation on the project. The refurbishment will deliver improved equipment for young people to enjoy,” said Cr Henderson.
Our experienced skate park builders will be retaining, recycling and reusing as much of the existing infrastructure as possible, including using the existing slab. They will also work with Council officers on minimising any inconvenience to the community and residents.
Works will take approximately 6 to 8 weeks (weather permitting).
