Thousands Amazed by Sovereign Hill’s Winter Wonderlights

More than 30,000 visitors have enjoyed Sovereign Hill’s Winter Wonderlights during the first week of the event, with over 14,000 taking advantage of the winter sun in the weekend just gone.

So far, more than 32 snow falls have been danced in, 56 hours of coach rides given and 48 performances delighting crowds in the Victorian Theatre.

With 92 batches of Winter Wonderlights drops, 12,000 jars of Raspberry drops and 10,000 toffee apples made, there is also plenty of sweet treats for visitors to enjoy during the three-week event.

More than 95,000 visitors attended in 2018, and with large crowds expected to continue this year Wonderlight-goers are encouraged to pre-book at www.winterwonderlights.com.au to avoid missing out.

Winter Wonderlights At A Glance
-More than 18kms of fairy lights will add a magical touch to Sovereign Hill’s gardens, including a NEW light tunnel.
-Find Sir Ginger getting up to mischief on Main Street.
-Watch flames erupt from the Sovereign Hill chimney.

-Over 25 buildings will come alive with large-scale light projections, the largest light projection spectacle ever staged in one site anywhere in Australia.
-The Winter Wonderlights will commence each evening as the sun sets.

Winter Wonderlights is on from Saturday 29 June – Sunday 21 July 2019 from 10am daily, with the ‘Winter Wonderlights’ show starting each evening after 5.45pm.
