Things to do in and Around Ballarat

Post Office Gallery, Anna Farago: Raw Edges, Please join the artist and speaker Prof Laurene Vaughan, Dean, School of Design, RMIT, for the exhibition closing on Sat 22 June @ 2pm. Anna Farago uses various creative methods, including feminist art making traditions to explore the notion of identity. As daughter, sister, mother, wife, friend, crafter, artist, woman and now widow, Farago examines how identity strongly intersects with memory and place.
Comprising large-scale textiles, small embroideries, paintings, photographs, video and documented performances, Farago’s work and exhibition reflect personal memories and experiences alongside those of others connected to significant sites and places.
