Ballarat Umpire Les Sedman Reaches 1000 Games

The Ballarat Football Umpires Association is pleased to announce member Les Sedman will officiate in his 1000th game this weekend.
Les continues to provide wonderful service to the association since beginning his umpiring career back in the mid 1970’s.

A consistent umpire during this time, Les has committed most of his weekends to the association and officiating league fixtures from seniors down to juniors and recently female competitions.
Over the journey, Les has been able to share his passion for umpiring with family members who have joined him on field for many games.

Les’s contribution to the association was acknowledged in 2016 when awarded Life Membership.
Les’s 1000th game will be the senior match between Buninyong and Hepburn, at Buninyong Recreation Reserve in Round 8 of the Central Highlands FL.

This is a truly remarkable milestone and the BFUA wishes Les all the best this weekend and for the remainder of his umpiring career.
