Jeremey Byrne of Ballarat has been titled the Cricket Australia Community Cricket Coach of the Year.
Jeremey’s outstanding coaching contributions to the Ballarat Women’s Cricket Club, Buninyong Cricket Club and Ballarat Cricket Association led to his award nomination and subsequent victory.
Jeremey is a prominent figure in Ballarat’s cricketing community, holding three different cricket coaching roles across junior and women’s teams, as well as various other volunteer roles in the game.
Jeremey received the award at the National A Sport For All Awards, hosted at the CitiPower Centre last night. The A Sport For All Awards shine a light on the support that volunteers, clubs and associations provide to the cricket community.
