Ballarat hit with flash flooding

Heavy rainfall in the Ballarat district has caused flash flooding in some areas, with creeks flowing almost to capacity by early afternoon.

43mm of rain fell in just twenty-four hours in Ballarat, with the Bureau of Meteorology predicting another 30-40mm.

Lal Lal was one of the worst hit with an estimated 62mm.
