Clunes Booktown

Another successful Clunes Booktown Festival took place in the picturesque town over the weekend.

While books may be the focus the two-day program was full of events, entertainment, food and other stalls.

It seemed that most of Clunes had chosen to take part and the town was buzzing.

The first Booktown was held in 2007 and history shows us that is was a wild day, weather wise, but the people still came.

The festival has grown dramatically in size over the years with an estimated 15,000 people visiting the small town and is a major tourist destination.
