Anzac Day 2019

This Anzac Day, as in those past, thousands of people joined together to pay tribute to and remember those who have served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations.

In our district all dawn services, wreath laying and marches had high attendances.

The commemorative services are held at dawn, the time of the original landing at Gallipoli, and are quick and reflective.

The marches and wreath laying, later in the day, usually includes a guest speaker and has much of the community involved in some way.
