Heart Week Health Walk, Tuesday April 30 -10am.  Free Walk – All Welcome.  60 minutes, gentle pace, suitable for all fitness levels including beginning recovery and cardiac rehab. graduates.  Start at Ballarat yacht Club.  Also opportunity for good conversation, coffee and scone at Boatshed Restaurant at conclusion of walk.  Coffee and scone $8.50.  Health walk organised by Heartbeat Ballarat peer support group.

GNAP19 ARTIST TALKS BENJAMIN ARMSTRONG SAT 4 MAY @ 2PM POST OFFICE GALLERY. Benjamin Armstrong’s work examines a perspective on indigenous and colonial history in Invisible Stories: Port Essington fragments – a series of linocut prints and unique unprinted cut linoleum blocks relating to Australian author Mark McKenna’s book From the Edge: Australia’s Lost Histories, 2016, about Port Essington, located in West Arnhem Land, that analyses the early C19 British explorers and how they tried, and failed, to establish a settlement there.

Ballarat Family Fun day, Friday April 19, 11am – 3pm. Ballarat Greyhound Racing Track. Family Fun Day, featuring kids entertainment, face painters, animal nursery, market, singers, dancers, food, raffles and auctions. Entry is by donation. Organised by Ballarat Good Friday Appeal, raising money for The Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.

Heartbeat Ballarat March Get Together This Week Wed 6.30pm with Guest Speaker. All welcome! Heartbeat Ballarat welcome everybody and you do not have to have a membership or a heart problem to attend meetings.
