AFL Goldfields will be well represented in this weekends AFLW grand final with an umpire and player taking the field.
Former BFUA Goal Umpire Callum Leonard has been selected to officiate this Sunday’s grand final between Adelaide and Carlton.
Carlton star Madison Prespakis who finished in sixth place with 30 votes in the coach’s association voting in her debut season, will also take the field as an integral part of the Carlton line up.
Prespakis was a former Romsey Junior player before making the big time after a stint with Calder Cannons.
AFL Goldfields staff will no doubt watch the game with great interest and admire the pathway for juniors and seniors to be involved with AFLW and Female Football as a whole.
After much debate the grand final will be played on Sunday at 1pm at the Adelaide Oval.
