Ballarat Neighbour Day

Neighbour Day is celebrated on the last Sunday in March each year and helps build better relationships with the people who live around us. Social connections with neighbours can make us feel better and helps prevent loneliness and isolation.
To help celebrate Neighbour Day, being held on 31 March 2019, the City of Ballarat and the Department of Justice and Community Safety are inviting not-for-profit community groups and organisations to apply for one of four $500 grants.
The grants are designed to assist not-for-profit community groups and organisations to hold a community-based activity that reflects the aim of Neighbour Day.

Representatives of the City of Ballarat’s Community Safety Advisory Committee will determine the successful applicants.
Grant applications are available at ballarat.vic.gov.au. Applications close on Monday 25 February, 2019.
