With a sunny 24 degrees predicted for Sunday, the first Summer Sundays concert series for 2019 is shaping up to be perfect!

The City of Ballarat kicks off its 2019 Summer Sundays three-part concert series this Sunday in the beautiful surrounds of the Ballarat Botanical Gardens.

A superb line-up of four Victorian musicians, including two Ballarat artists, will take to the stage between 3-7pm.

Fulton Street – Melbourne
Fulton Street are an exhilarating seven-piece band making waves in the soul music scene.
Led by vocalist Shannen Wick and featuring a rock-solid rhythm section and dynamic horns, Fulton Street combines the classic elements of soul and R&B with magnetic energy for an irresistible sound.
Fulton Street’s live performances have earned them the stage at some of Australia’s premier festivals.

Fraser A Gorman – Melbourne
Fraser A Gorman’s songwriting builds around his ability to convey his life, hopes, and fears openly with lyrical wit.
Sonically, his album has a warm and timeless feel. Taking a slight step away from the country folk vibes of his previous releases, Easy Dazy is more laid-back Americana with a driving pop sensibility – you can hear this firsthand on Sunday.

Honey Hunter – Ballarat
Honey Hunter is made up of Ballarat flamboyant lead guitarist Floyd Quinlan-Baskett, guitarist Arian Lane, bass player Jedd Linke-Nagel and drummer Griffin McGookin.
The group have a distinctive sound with subtle 90s influences, acoustic jams and just the right amount of teen angst.

Ruby Wragg – Ballarat
Ruby Wragg is an 18-year-old singer-songwriter from Ballarat.
She accompanies herself with a guitar and loop pedal and is known for incorporating lush vocal harmonies into her songs.

This free all-ages event brings the gardens to life every Summer, with music from a range of genres including, jazz, rock ’n’ roll and folk music.

This year’s performances take place at the Ballarat Botanical Gardens between 3-7pm on Sunday 6, 13 and 20 January.

But it does not stop there!

A selection of Ballarat’s favourite food vendors will also be onsite each Sunday serving up the best in local produce.

This Sunday the following food vendors will be set up around the gardens: Round The Way; lil nomnoms; Dos Diablos Mobile Cantina; The Very Hungry Caterpillar Food Van; The Enchanted Caravan; Bianco Latte; Boost Juice Van and Bean Me Up Mobile Espresso.

Following its significant popularity last year, the Garden Bar is also back.

This fully-licensed Blue Pyrenees Estate pop-up bar will showcase some of the region’s best wine, craft beer and cider suppliers and is the ideal place to relax and take in all the action with the best line-of-sight to the stage.

And for those looking to relax even further with their family and friends, the bean bag lounge is also returning.

Make sure you get in early to secure your spot in the bean bag lounge or pop-up garden.
